DZNR Design Studio at nZEB Expo 2024
Sustainable Design in Action
At the November 2024 edition of the nZEB Expo in Cluj-Napoca, DZNR Design Studio created a standout exhibition booth entirely out of cardboard boxes—an intentional and efficient choice aligned with the low-energy, low-impact philosophy of the event.
The booth was the result of a cross-disciplinary collaboration between Inginerie Creativă and Marius Șoflete on the engineering side, and Dizainăr and UAD Cluj-Napoca on the creative front. Inside, visitors discovered a curated selection of contemporary Romanian design objects presented by Dizainăr, alongside a dynamic exhibition of student works from UAD’s Design Department.
By using accessible, recyclable materials and showcasing a blend of professional and emerging talent, the booth embodied both the values of sustainable construction and the forward-thinking spirit of Romanian design.
